There was a complete buzz around the Upper Elementary environment as they departed on their annual camp to the Soetwater Environmental Centre in Kommetjie. Soetwater aims to provide an exciting opportunity for children to experience the outdoors first hand. Soetwater endeavours to foster self respect, personal growth and appreciation of nature. Soetwater is situated on the Atlantic seaboard of the Cape Peninsula adjacent to the lighthouse at Kommetjie. It is a pristine wilderness area wedged between the mountains of the Slangkop Nature Reserve and the Atlantic ocean.
Christelle, Deon, Jana and our School Head Justin spent a fantastic time on the edge of the ocean with all of the kids.
The kids all came back, grubby, excited and full of smiles! Thanks to everyone for making is a safe and superb outing!
